He has made everything suited to its time; also, he has given human beings an awareness of eternity; but in such a way that they can’t fully comprehend, from beginning to end, the things God does.

I really am looking forward to where God leads me this year and what he teaches me. I look forward to the good and bad of 2010.

My Lillie Flower

This little Sweetheart is such a doll! She has been extra sweet to me lately. :) I love the way LillieGirl always wants me lately! This is not a normal thing… usually she wants Mama or Rachel over me, but lately she has just wanted me, which makes me happy! She’s all about me holding her, hugging her, blowing kisses, and just being a sweetie!
Yesterday, she wouldn’t let me go make lunch unless I took her with me. I was very glad we have an Ergo. Today, I came out in the living room and she was sitting on the couch singing her heart out. I smiled at her and she said, “MANNA!” then jumped in my lap! awww! She’s got THE cutest smile, THE sweetest laugh, THE best hugs and kisses and she is just an amazing 2yo sistah!
I love that baby girl! She is my Lillie Flower and the prettiest flower ever!
Loving my Lillie Flower,

MAMA, You Surpass Them All!

Molding together
All the things that
Make me become
A woman of God
by Amanda Dixon

Being a mama is a million things in one. Its the most glorious title to attain, and also the hardest to complete. I look forward to the day I become a mama. I know its gonna be the best experience in the world. I am thankful for the Mama God has given me. She has set an amazing example before me that I hope I can live in her footsteps when I become a mama. This year, I’m gonna make everyday mother’s day for my Mama. She deserves it!

Proverbs 31:28
“Her children arise; they make her happy; her husband too, as he praises her:

I am trying as a daughter to make my Mama happy by showing her the good fruit of her training and molding of me.

To my Mama:
There are no words to say how blessed and privileged I am to have you as a Mama. You are such an amazing mother and example of a Godly woman. I hope I can follow your shadow when I am a wife and mama. You’re one in a million!
I am so glad that I can not only have you as my mama, but also my friend. Not many people get that experience and I am just so glad that I do have that.
Thank you for everything you have done for me. Thank you for being the best you can. Thank you for putting up with me and standing by me even when I don’t deserve to have you. I know we have had our rough times and though they were hard, they brought us closer together. I look forward to growing closer to you as we grow older together. I ♥ you a billion blue peanut M&M’s
Hope you have an amazing Mother’s Day! I hope that I can make everyday as special as you are!

“Many women have done wonderful things, but you surpass them all!”

Just so everyone knows… I found her cape and suit hiding behind the dresser! ;)

Knows what goes good with chocolate? Depression Caramels straight from The Austerity Kitchen. Or maybe we need to make the desserts a little more healthy with a Fresh Strawberry and White Chocolate Custard Pie from Scribbit | A Blog About Motherhood in Alaska.

Joyfully Celebrating

Published in Growing In Grace Magazine, My Mama: My Best Friend, The Daily Life at The Daily Planet

How in the world is today May 1st? Wasn’t it just yesterday we were welcoming in the New Year? Somehow every month flies by and the new month slips in everso secretly… Well kinda secretly… I also know its a new month because I get super busy with all the publishing work for GGM. But all the work is worth it. :) Each issue comes out beautifully!

This month’s issue came out so wonderfully.  There are so many great articles to read and be encouraged by. The month being May we are Celebrating Mothers as the main focus of the issue.
All of the GGM team writers shared In Honor of their Moms. Its a wonderful article all about the Moms of the GGM writers. They’re the BEST!
This month’s design is really pretty too. I’m really hoping that all those April showers we got here in Indiana will bring some May flowers. I Love Flowers!

I have quite a few articles this month… I still can’t believe I got them all written… It sure has been a hectic last couple of weeks. :P So here they are:

A Scrappin’ Time

A New Love

They Really Are “Grand”!

In Remembrance

Joy Like A Fountain

There are so many great articles from all the team. I am going to be reading them tomorrow… didn’t get a chance to today… it was WAY too busy and went WAY too fast! I think May is gonna go “Faster than a speeding bullet;) But that’s ok… I’m really looking forward to June! There are some really awesome things happening in June… can’t wait for those! :D It’s gonna be a “Super” month!

My Dude!

Published in Cal-Eb, I'm Photogenic, Me Myself and I, Reflections of a 19 year old, Super Favorites, The Daily Life at The Daily Planet
We had some beautiful weather a couple weeks ago and since Jocelyn needed a picture of me and a picture of Caleb for Mom’s New Design, we decided to go out and try and get some pictures.
I must say we got some really great ones and even tho they have been on my facebook and twitter for a few weeks, not all my readers are on there, and I know y’all just are dying to see them. ;)

I just can’t say how much I love this Dude. He is such a sweetie!

Photobucket

Oh yeah! He is so sweet! I love him even when he runs wild around the house and yells like a horse. I love his “mornin’ kisses” and his “night kisses”. I love his hugs and his sweet sweet smile.

Photobucket

He is my Dude. I am so blessed that God gave him to our family and that I have such a good relationship with him. I missed most of his infancy because I was in rebellion and wanted nothing to do with him. I wanted to hold on to my rebellion and wanted nothing to do with anyone in my family, especially the new baby. I LOVE babies and my rebellion wouldn’t let me be a sister to him til he was about a year old. I very much regret that I missed his first year, but I  am glad that God gave me a second chance to be a big sister to him and love him! I can’t imagine my life without him and nor do I want to! He is so awesome and super! ;)

Caleb, I love ya boy. Can’t wait to see the man you become! You’re super!

Aren’t those pics just the cutest? I so love them! :)
Love, Prayers and Blessings,
