It’s June 1st. There is so much going on today! Eric’s 11th birthday is today, so head over to his blog and tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY! One year ago, today I got my license. I have been a legal driver in Indiana for one year! Wow!
And finally Growing In Grace Magazine has published their 5 issue! June edition is so spectacular! This month is honoring fathers. We owe so much to our dads for not just the physical things they do for us, but also for the spiritual guidance that they give us as we grow into women for the Lord.
This month has such a beautiful cover featuring my darling friend, Brielle! Isn’t she just gorgeous? She was the perfect cover girl for this month issue.
Along with Miss Brielle, we have a new design! This month’s design has to be my absolute favorite yet! It is so pretty with a vintage type theme.
Look at this pretty icon graphic! There is also a matching calendar you can get to put on your blog too. But to get these beautiful icons, you need to go and get the code from the site. We upgraded our links, so they won’t automatically change from the ones from last month. Go get the new codes!
This month is so packed with great articles! The ones I wrote are:
The Daily Newsroom: Saving Jars, One Life at a Time,
C.I.A.: A Precious Relationship,
Cloak and Dagger: Kids Are Like Sponges,
The Butterfly Project,
National Drive Safe Month and The Quadricycle.
I had a small part in the Father’s Day by the GGM Daughters. I know those don’t all amount to the 9 articles I said I was writing… but if you want to read the other 4 I wrote you will have to go back through out the month of June to read them. ![]()
There is so much good stuff in this month’s issue by all the other writers, you just have to go over and read it!
So if you aren’t busy today, spend some time reading the many wonderful articles that GGM has to offer. And if you feel so inclined, blog about it and tell your friends!
And… I extended the deadline for the Homeschool Senior 08 Giveaway to June 6th. Please go read the updated post! I really hope to get some more Seniors entered for this awesome giveaway!
Have a great day in the Lord!
Love, Blessings and Prayers As Always,

Thanks for stopping by “Daily” at the “Planet”!!

aww, that’s awful about your laptop…I hope it gets fixed in time. Eminent deadlines plus sudden complications is never fun!
I’m gonna have to take a look at your articles! Can’t wait to see what you have to say!

Hi Miss Amanda,
That’s so sad about your laptop!
It’s even worse when you don’t know how it happened! I hope you can get it fixed soon.
What is the main font on your site design? I’ve been wondering that.
The new GGM issue looks great! You ladies have put a lot of time and effort into this. I am extra-excited about this issue because I was featured in Jocelyn’s “Blessed Girlhood” article.
Have a great day!

Hurrah on another magazine off the press, I’m sure you do a lovely job on those things (though the covers do end up being a bit cluttered, but this June edition is very nice). You have a lovely cover girl this time round. :d
Your laptop broke?! Waaaa!?

*reads post before latest* Oh, I’m so sorry your screen broke! That’s horrible!
We had one or two laptop screens break, we went on eBay for a replacement screen and put it in the computer ourselves. That turned out to be the best route for us, hope the Dell guy can get it fixed.

Dearest Amanda,
I certainly remember that….how I would talk with you on your c-box and finally you convinced me enough to get my own blog. I am really blessed to know and count you as a friend!
Love you!
-Miss Elizabeth
P.S. The challenge will go though all of June so you should have enough time

Congrats on the anniversary! I got my learners permit today. In our state it’s lots cheaper if you wait a few years.
I finally got my midwifery post up! That took awhile didn’t it?
Your laptop will be in working order tomorrow, right? That’s so disappointing!
