Imagine my sheer happiness when I walk into the office to get something and there is LillieGirl reading a book! That picture is the exact way I found her. She is just the cutest thing.
Our kids are pretty smart, so this isn’t really a huge surprise. Isaac was a genius when he was one! We call him Einstein because he is so smart. But then again, everyone loves reading, so we got her started right! ![]()
And… after that happened this happened:
LillieGirl was so cute last nite. We had just gotten finished eating dinner, and I was holding her and we were talking. She was in a sweet mood, so I said, “You are so cute!”. I then asked her if she was cute, and to our surprise, she shakes her head yes. LOL! Jocelyn and I burst out laughing. It was so adorable!
Life is so busy. I have 8 articles coming up for Growing In Grace in June. Whew! I was not sure I could do them all, but I sat down last week and just wrote away. I now have 7 articles done, so only 1 more to go.
It has been SO much easier to get things done now that I have my Vostro!
I am so thrilled to have it. I absolutely love it. It’s pretty awesome.
I have a lot of errands to run and things at home to do too. Grocery shopping, library runs, post office runs, etc.
Saturday through Sunday, we worked outside in the barnyard fixing the fence so the dumb goats will stay in. I had Cal-Eb most of the time because he kept getting into things. We went and played on the swing set, took a walk around the yard, and then we played the Amanda version of Bocce ball.
When we finished playing, it was getting close to dinner time, and I had some money from watching a friend’s children, so I ordered pizza. It was a treat for everyone! Jocelyn, Hanners, Cal-Eb and I then went to town to pick up and stopped by Wal-Mart to get stuff for s’mores.
In otherly news this week… Mom hosted the Carnival Of Homeschooling #126: End of the School Year? Or Is It? yesterday. Today, Mom had a dentist appt. for a couple teeth that needed to be pulled. We are praying she won’t be out of commission for too long. Although the removal went really well.
I was so proud of Cal-Eb to at the dentist’s office. We were getting ready to leave and he was carrying the diaper bag, then this mom and 2 boys came in. The littlest boy need a tissue, but there was none around, so he was sitting in a chair sniffling. I go to get Cal-Eb to leave and he was holding a tissue up to the little boy. Cal-Eb had gotten into the diaper bag to get a tissue out for him. Of his own volition! I was so amazed at him! He is so sweet!
So my life is really busy. Not to mention we are getting things planned for vacation. I am so excited! I seriously cannot wait! It’s going to be such a great vacation. We have so much planned and so much to do.
The weather here has been lovely! It has been warm, but not too warm. The 80’s are such a great temperature!
I hope you all have a Super day!
Love, Blessings and Prayers As Always,

Thanks for stopping by “Daily” at the “Planet”!!

Hi! I would sign up for the senior ‘08 giveaway, except I won’t be graduating for six years. I’ll just have to wait till 2014!
It’s been getting warm lately. Right now it’s 72*F. It gets past 100*F in the summer. But it’s still nice right now.
Oh yeah… is there a way to make a blushing smiley? (Just wondering. )
We might be going to see Caspian tomorrow.
In Christ,
Emily

Aww she sounds so cute!
I really want to see that Expelled movie, it sounds kind of neat.
I know, I feel bad for the oldest brother too. Personally, I’d need a lot of strength from God to live with myself after that.

Whew, you sound so busy! and I love when you talk about your baby sister, she is so adorable! I wish I could meet her!
glad your Mom’s tooth removal went well…I can totally relate–my mom got a tooth infection last week that went into her jaw…she had surgery last week and was “out of commission” for a while. thankfully she hasn’t had to get any teeth pulled (yet!). SO yes, glad your mother is doing good and make sure she gets lots of ice cream! lol!
ryc: yes, of all the actors the one who plays Susan is my least favorite. I don’t think she’s terrible, she’s just not a standout like the others…
