This week has been a little stressful for me lately and when I stopped by the HSBA Post to see what the Homeschool Memoirs was, I thought it was so befitting! I just love doing these and today’s theme is so great! So let’s get some “Mom” Help!:

This week I’d like to invite you to share what YOUR “Mom” help is. Some drink coffee, soda, or chai-tea. Others check email or read their favourite blogs. Some talk a walk…. what do you do when you need to clear your head and take a breather?
Scripture Share:
Please share a Scripture that gives you a “mom” help when you’re spirit is feeling overwhelmed.

I know I am not a Mama yet, but who doesn’t need some help, right? :) My favorite this is to either get a raspberry white tea or cup of strong coffee with some hazelnut creamer. If I have the moolah, I will get an blended iced coffee with all the works from Brew~Ha, our local coffee shop. And if I REALLY need something, I get a Coke Vanilla!
I love to go away on a drive or read or write. Just be by myself. Go on a run. I love to run! I also will go and do laundry!

My Scripture Share is:

2 Kings 2:9aKJV
“And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.”

1 Kings 3:9 KJV
“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”

I pray that I can have a double portion of the Holy Spirit that I can do what God wants of me! I also pray that He will give me an understanding so that I can be the Mama who I am supposed to be that I can discern and love!
If you would like to join the Homeschool Memoirs, visit Homeschool Memoirs Meme. I hope to see you there! :)

Please remember the Drews family today in your prayers. It is Christian’s 4th birthday! If you would like to let Marshy know you are thinking and praying for them, you can here: Happy 4th Birthday, dear Christian!

Love, Prayers and Blessings,

Thanks for stopping by “Daily” at the “Planet”!!

I like vanilla coke too, but I LOVE cherry coke – not in a can, but fountain coke with the added cherry. So much that the drink is red! Delicious!

I enjoy a good walk every now and then. Very relaxing. I’m afraid if I tried to run though, I wouldn’t make it back home. So out of shape…

Appreciate your prayers! I need them! I probably need to go to the doctor, but I’m trying to handle it here at home. I don’t seem to be getting much better, though. *sigh*

Thanks for the heads up about Rachel’s giveaway. I would love to enter but because I have that DVD already I will let some other person who doesn’t have a copy win it. I am looking forward to her other giveaways though….!!

    Have a blessed day!

Thanks for commenting at our blog! I LOVE thet song “Love is not a Fight”, and every time it comes on the radio I become ecstatic! I think the rest of my family is thoroughly sick of it though.

It’s nice to meet someone else who occasionally likes to be ALONE to relax. In this world of “group hugs” “relationship-mania” and “sister chicks” mentality (what a silly name), sometimes it makes a person feel like they are not “normal” if they prefer to spend time alone. Even as a teen I liked to climb to the top of “Turkey Farm” hill, gaze into the sky, look at Mt. Rainier, and think about God and write a poem.

Of course, the “laundry’ segment is definitely NOT on my relaxing list. After you’ve done laundry for 30+ years you may boot it off your list, too. LOL
