Well I am really exhausted, but totally happy! This week has been so busy and a flurry of activities. Sunday the time changed and so we lost an hour of daylight, so it was a really short day. Then that nite I was up late with Cal-Eb.
Monday got up late and sat and talked with Jocelyn while she blogged. Then I went and got feed and spent most of the rest of my nite remaking the grocery list and menu plan for this week. I had actually done it a couple weeks ago, but for some reason when I went to open the files off Mom’s flashdrive it said they were corrupted. huh? So I was up late making a brand new menu plan and matching grocery list to go with it.
Tuesday, after getting 6 hours of sleep, got up early, did all the barn chores myself, got cleaned up and read to go to the grocery store. Jocelyn and I went to the grocery store for a couple of hours. I really do enjoy going grocery shopping. I really like it and am sorta glad Mom doesn’t because then she would go and I wouldn’t get to! haha!
Here is a funny story about going to the store… haha… We were getting some cheese at the local co-op market type place and we got about 4 1/2# of different cheeses. Well this guy, who looked about middle twenties, came up on the side of us and saw how much cheese we were getting and said, “Do you own a restaurant?”. Me: “No, we have 10 people in our family.” Guy: “Oh…. WOW!” The lady who worked there said, “Well its like a restaurant sometimes, right?” Me: “kinda!” hahaha…. It was pretty funny.
Anyway… when I got home, we unloaded the groceries and then I made dinner. While I was making dinner, I did the dishes and cleaned up the rest of the kitchen. Then we ate, and I was finally able to check emails and things online. Got to bed late again last nite too because we had things to do that didn’t get done. It seems that since the time change we don’t have enough hours in the day! I do not like Daylight Savings Time at all! Then we finally went to bed again LATE!
Today had to get up early again after getting 5 hours of sleep because Cal-Eb had a doctor’s appointment. While he was at the doctor’s, I took Jocelyn, Eric, Hannie, and Isaac to the parking lot and we cleaned out the van. Man, it was a mess. I hadn’t been able to clean it out really good because the weather has been crazy this year.
I was really glad we FINALLY had some BEAUTIFUL weather so we could clean the van. Yesterday and Today were completely BEAUTIFUL! It was so nice. Sun was shining and it was about 45′! So happy! Hopefully the spring will be here soon. I really hope that spring comes soon! The weather for this week looks pretty nice. YAY! We really needed some nice weather!
Anyway… so we got the van cleaned up and waited for Mom and Cal-Eb to get done… but that is NOT the most exciting news…. WANNA HEAR WHAT IS? ![]()
We got to see the Suarez’s! Yes, they had a business meeting in Fort Wayne, which is ten minutes away, so we got to go have lunch with them for a couple of hours. It was such a short trip though that is the only sad part. We had a really great time though in the short amount of time we had.
We got to go to the Olive Garden to which I have never been. It was pretty good too. We just had such a fun and refreshing time with them. They are so awesome, really! Love them all to death.
So that was really great. We got some pictures, but I am in like none of them because I was the photographer for the whole event. haha… anyway, so here are a few for you! ( hey… that kinda rhymes… sorry I know I said no more rhyming.
)

Here is my little Superman, Cal-Eb! He did so well today even though I know he is not completely himself yet.

LillieGirl really liked Levi. She is such a sweetie! I love this picture!

Hannie and Susannie are such a CUTE set. I snapped this picture of them. TOO SWEET! Hannie was so excited because this was the first time she got to hold her.

Here is the one picture we have of me… haha… walking out to leave. I am helping Cal-Eb crossing the street.
So needless to say I am exhausted, but it is a good exhaustion. What an exciting week, huh? Yep, I am so happy… not to mention that in like 8 days we will see them again for Paulie’s birthday party. I am REALLY excited about that. Can’t wait! Its going to be awesome!
And I leave you with a scripture verse. One I really enjoy. It goes well with There’s Got To Be More To Life, and I remember singing the song as a child. It was one of my favorites.
John 13:35
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
I just want to let you all know that I really do love all my blogging friends. You are such a huge part of my life and a very important part too. I am so glad that I can call you friends, because you are true and Godly friends, unlike ones I used to have. More on that to come.
Anyway, have a great evening. Really busy the rest of this week. Have a lot to do. OH! I have a prayer request. Please pray for a friend of mine’s husband. He had a hernia surgery last week and is recuperating, but is unable to help with his five children. Please just pray that he has a fast recovery and little pain. ((HUGS))!
Take care and have a SUPER weekend!
Love, Blessings and Prayers As Always,

Thanks for stopping by “Daily” at the “Planet”!!

Aw…looks like fun! Ha, that is too funny about your conversation in the grocery store
. I was with our friends in HEB once who have 14 kids, but only about five were with us that day. The cashier, of course, asked if they were all in the same family, and I couldn’t help but be dissapointed that their mother didn’t take the opportunity to point out that “no, she’d left the other ten at home.”
Thanks for stopping by!

It sounds like you had a lot of fun, and those pictures of the babies were really cute.
I will definitely be praying for your friend and her husband. My dad has had several hernia surgeries, and they are not fun!
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

I love those moments like your cheese (did you get swiss?) moment! Those are so fun! Mom once told a lady “I have eleven children” and her mouth dropped open and after several seconds she managed “OH! I have to sit down.”
‘Twas hilarious, really.
Your crossing the street picture is my favorite, a cool angle on that.

Hey Amanda!
Goodness! You’re making me tired just by reading all your late nights!
Like you, I have been really exhausted lately. But it’s not from going to bed late either! I’ve been going to bed at night at 9:30 sometimes 10:00! So, it’s not from late nights! I think it’s from the time change. The only good thing about the time change is, it means that spring is almost here!!!! Yay!!!! I can’t wait!!!!
I’m so glad to find someone who loves to go grocery shopping as much as Sarah and I do!
I really enjoy grocery shopping! Loved the story about the guy at the store! That was funny!
We’ve been having beautiful weather over here for the past few days! It was awesome! I can’t wait for the weather to be like that every day!
Glad ya’ll got to see the Suarez’s! Ya’ll went to Olive Garden!?! I love that place! They have the best pizza ever! And their bread sticks and salad are the greatest!!! I could make a meal just with their bread sticks!
That was really your first time ever going to Olive Garden?! Wow! Did you like the food?
Those are great pictures! Cal-Eb looks so cute! I’m praying that he is completely better real soon! And the babies are so adorable!!!
And I’ll be praying for you friend’s husband! I’ll be praying that he has a fast recovery and little pain!
Thanks for praying for my dad as he traveled back to Louisiana! He got down there safe and sound!
I totally love the theme song from Smallville!!! I think I’ve listened to it the entire time I was typing out this comment!!!
Don’t be surprised if you come to my blog one day soon and find that I put it on my playlist!
Goodness! I just realized how long this comment is going to be! So sorry that it’s super long! I didn’t mean for it to get this long!
I’m so sorry that ya’ll won’t be able to come visit! It’s very disappointing!
I was really looking forward to meeting ya! Well, there’s always next time!
Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day and I hope you are able to get to bed early tonight!
lots of hugs,
Jordan Lee

hehe, so funny that they thought you all owned a restuarant. I always joke that Sam’s Club was created for small business owners….and homeschoolers!
hey, I was looking at the homeschool seniors of 08 blogearlier! You run that, right? That is such an awesome idea! I hope someone (Jocelyn, maybe?) will have one up next year for class of ‘09!
It would be neat to have that community of fellow seniors and see what they are doing.

Hey your site is back up!
Lol, I loved that conversation!
I will be praying for your friend’s husband!
RYC about why I don’t wear dresses: I guess I don’t wear them because they aren’t me! I do wear them to church sometimes and at Christmas but not often. I’m just picky about my clothes, not whether they are ‘in style’ but what I like. I won’t wear shirts with collars, button ups, tank tops, overalls, or stripes. Lol, I don’t know why I don’t like wearing those things, I just don’t!

Wow, what a week! I can imagine you must be very happily exhausted. And I’m glad to see Cal-Eb seems to be doing much better.
I’m afraid I’ve sadly neglected letting you know that I do still come by. You have so many good posts to read and I have not taken the time to tell you that of late.
I am praying for all of you and I hope to ‘hear’ from you soon.
Much love, Mellie

I love seeing shock in other people’s faces. Cruel, but fun! “Yes, I have ten younger siblings!” And, the boys came right at the end so I was ten before I had a brother. I’m rambling, but I really like telling people about my family.
I didn’t sleep much last week either. More than you did, though. Which was good, because we had a concert last night.
Glad you liked the Luther movie.
Heather
P.S. And I didn’t use a single LOL. What’s wrong with me?

Hi Amanda! I’m sorry I haven’t been by to say hello in such a long time! How are you and your family doing?
That does sound like fun, getting to see the Suarez’s. We’re actually going to eat with them.. next week, I think? They live about an hour or two from us, but we hardly ever see them.
I hope things are going well for you and I’ll talk to you soon!

Hey, haven’t commented in a while, cause I’ve been away at the beach, being a bum.
Oh, so you think you can beat me at TH, huh? Nice try. I like what Beavers said about me and him against you and Paulie, ‘cept that we don’t have 4 DS’s. Unless y”all have 2.
Anyway, Laters
