The time will be changing again. I think on Sunday but not sure. Anyhow this is our 10th Homeschool Memoirs so this week it’s going to be about 10 timely facts about you! Write 10 interesting, crazy, weird, fun facts about you! Include facts about you as a woman, a wife, a mommy, a homeschooler, a homekeeper, a taxi-driver, a cook, etc . I only put 10 facts because I didn’t want to overwhelm you, but you’re welcome to do more! I just posted 101 Facts about myself on my blog, which you can take a look at if you should like.
Alrighty here goes… I did 19 things in honor of my 19th birthday which is on Sunday.
1. I am a perfectionist!
2. I am a procrastinator.
3. I love to drive.
4. I hate conflict, but it seems to love me.
5. I love old, cloth covered books that fit in one hand.
6. I crack my neck, back, fingers, toes, and lower back. they feel so much better afterward!
7. I taught myself to touch type.
8. I realized the other day that I have been learning about computer technology on my own since I was 14!
9. I enjoy washing, drying, and folding laundry. I do not like putting it away!
10. I love authentic Mexican! none of that fake stuff you find here in Indiana!
11. I am dreading the cold of winter.
12. I am taller than everyone in my family except for Dad.
13. I collect: pens, notebooks, purses, shoes, Superman, books, and Jolly Ranchers (although they don’t stay collected very long!
)
14. I first sang in church when I was 18months. Auntie Jen and I sang Jesus loves me.
15. I will ONLY buy any electronics from Dell. They have awesome customer service.
16. I go to the grocery store every week and make up the menu and grocery list.
17. I have read a 523 page book in 2 days.
18. I count things. How many I eat of certain foods, how many certain items I have, pieces of clothing that go into a load, how many drinks I take, and many more.
19. I CANNOT believe my birthday is Sunday and I will be 19!
Well there are 19 things about me! that was kinda hard to think of them. But I am glad I did. I got to take a look at myself… do I like what I see? ![]()

Also I want to let you know that there will be a Third Party Presidential Debate on Thursday, October 23rd at 9pm est. Funny thing… last nite I dreamed that I watched a third party debate and got to see Chuck Baldwin debating. I got up this morning to find an email in my inbox that they were actually going to have the debate on Thursday! kinda weirdy. You can read the whole email: Third Party Debate on Thursday! Will you be watching?
Love, Prayers and Blessings,

I enjoy these kinds of posts. I like to read more about my friends, and I am glad to say I know a little more about you.
I can’t believe that you have been learning computer technology on your own since you were 14. I am 15 and I can’t do too much WITH help. The Dixons are computer coordinated!
Well, Have a Great Day!
Love

Hi Amanda,
It was great learning more about you.
I have always wondered how people could stand to crack their own neck, back, fingers, toes, and lower back. UGH
I like Chiropractors, but DH doesn’t believe in them so I can’t go. DH is in the medical field and doesn’t believe a Chiropractor can be of any use.
Blessings,
Michelle

That was really cute, I love lists like this I love MJ’s 101 and I did not have time to comment on it I’ll have to run by there and do that soon! I posted a list for this week.
LOL I’m so surprised that I enjoy football, It’s been around me forever, but I just now got into watching it although I still do a girly Oh NO! or *gasp* when they hit each other really hard and my dad rolls his eyes and says “THIS is FOOTBAll!” LOL
I love your list especially the part about the bad Texmex food here in the Midwest! We end up making our own Mexican food at home, although we found this AWESOME restaurant relatively close to us and they are from the exact place in Cali. that we are from so they know how to cook the Mexican food! My uncle took us to a really great restaurant in Fort Wane and he is from Mexico so I think he knows good Mexican food when he tastes it! I should try and get the name of that for you if’n you’d like.

Not quite as long as Jocelyn’s, but a great list anyway. I had to chuckle at #6. “I crack my neck, back, fingers, toes, and lower back. they feel so much better afterward!” I do that as well, except for the lower back. (Not sure I want to start doing that.) It freaks my whole family out! Oh, and I like authentic mexican food as well.

Hey Amanda,
That was fun to read! I like learning more about you an your family. I would have loved to see you and Aunt Jen sing. I’m sure it was so cute!! Do you have a good singing voice? I’m actually taking singing lessons on the computer and it has gone from 30% accuracy to 98% accuracy. It’s been working great!
Hope you’ve been doing well!
