I love participating in these Homeschool Memoirs themes! They are so awesome and so neat! I cannot believe we are on #8 already! Its been so fun getting to know everyone better and getting my schooling in order all together! This week is really fun… its about our favorite Study Spot.

This week share your favourite spot to study with your kids. There are many places you can sit down to teach, learn, and work, but where do you prefer and why? You’re welcome to include a photo of your study spot! Looking forward to seeing everyone’s!

I really like to sit in my room on my bed to do my studies. It is quiet and I can complete my work quickly. Of course quite a bit of my schooling is on my Vostro and prefer to do that around Mama and Jocelyn rather than alone! But algebra, accounting, writing, and reading I like to do by myself!

If you would like to join the Homeschool Memoirs, visit Homeschool Memoirs Meme. I hope to see you there! :)

Also I have a special announcement!
Mrs. Cindy Rushton has been so generous as to donate a pass to GIVEAWAY to one of my readers for her Training Son, Training Daughters Talk-A-Latte seminar that starts bright and early tomorrow morning at 9am CST. This seminar pass is worth $30! What a super giveaway! You are excited right? I sure am! Everytime I go to one of Mrs. Rushton’s Talk-A-Lattes, I get refreshed and encouraged and it is just so fun!
So… to enter this great giveaway you just need to: Email 5 friends about this giveaway with this link and CC me on the email.
VOILA! You are entered into this amazing giveaway! Make sure to get your entries in by midnight PST/3am EST TONIGHT to be entered.
I will pick a random person’s name and then email everyone to let them know who won! Also, whether you win a pass or not, you can attend the TAL seminar tomorrow and listen to the talks and chats, but you don’t receive the extras! I am looking forward to attending tomorrow and would love for you to join me!

Ok…off to read some of my fellow Homeschool Memoirs friends and am awaiting your emails!

I can’t find the recipe! And that would not have been a motivator for your Mom’s party – she was the motivation ;-)

I did use Mommy Homework to buy the seminar, but with a sick child, me feeling a bit blah, free apples and tomatoes sitting here, and no one to help with the kiddos, I’ll listen to it later! But I am so excited about it – maybe Matt can listen, too!

    Thanks! Danielle

I like studying on my bed too. I usually do most of my school at the dining room table, then I do my school reading on my bed. (=

I pretty much did all my reading at my bed or a favorite chair in my room when I was growing up and at college. Anything that involved math though was usually done at the dining room table when dad was home so that I could be closer to help when I didn’t understand something.
