Welcome to Brielle’s 18th Spanish Ball! I welcome all of you, Senoirs and Senoiritas.
I wish I could really hope a Spanish Ball for you, Brielle and at this Spanish castle too, but my blog will have to do!
Thank you all for coming. Today we are celebrating the 18th birthday of Brielle. I would like to say a few words about our wonderful Seamstress before we get to the festivities.
Brielle is one of THE kindest souls I have met in my life. She is so very sweet
and loving. She is one of those kindred spirits you just can’t help but want to know more of. Her demeanor is so sweet tempered you can help with love her like a sister.
Brielle is so very talented in the art of sewing that it amazes me and awes me. I want to be more like her! She is such an example of a sweet tempered, loving, kind person that you can be honored to look up to.
Brielle truly cares for you and you know it. She wants to spur you on in your walk and wants to intercede for you in prayers. You can trust that she is a warrior on your behalf.
Brielle, I hope you have the best birthday ever. I am so very honored to not only know you, but to also have met you in person. I love you and hope that we can grow up the rest of our lives together! You are such an example of loveliness and sweetness. I wish I was more like you in that area.
Thank you for being such a super friend!

Here are some refreshments for you to take part of before the main course. There is a some pineapple (Brielle’s favorite) cheeseball and crackers, deviled eggs, veggie tray, cheese and meat tray, & chex mix.
Also there is some raspberry punch for your drinks.
Now… on with the ball! First we shall have some dances. Who doesn’t love to dance?
123, 123, 123….

Next, we shall open her gifts. I am giving her a laptop for her business. I pray it grows into what God has planned and it continues to be a source of enjoyment to her.![]()
I would also get her loads of fabric. Enough to last her forever. I think she should start her own fabric line…hint hint… to go with her costume and clothing lines.![]()
I would also get her a plane ticket to wherever she wants to go. I hope she would pick Indiana, so I could see her, but I believe she wants to go to England. That would be really fun too!
Before we begin her special dinner, I would like to make a special blessing for her.
“Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you so much for the blessing of Brielle and everything she means to us. You have given her such a wonderful talent to use to your glory. I pray today that she will continue to become even more beautiful and sweet and loving,(although that is kinda hard because she is already so much). Lord, I pray that you bless Brielle and her family. I know you hold her future and You have great plans for her life. I know she will follow you all her days and love You as her Savior. As she turns 18 today, I pray that she will have a wonderful birthday and realizes how special she is so many people.
In Jesus’ name, I pray!”
Now let’s eat this delicious food! I looked online and tried to find out what kinds of food they would
have eaten in 1800’s at a Spanish Ball, but I totally could not find anything. So I decided to just have one of my favorites because Brielle and I are so much alike, I thought she would probably like this meal too!
For the main course, we will have green enchiladas with Spanish rice, beans, and tortillas. Looks so good!
Enjoy! But save some room for Brielle’s beautiful birthday cake.
Would everyone please join with me now to sing Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Day To You
Happy Birthday Day To You
Happy Birthday Day Darling Brielle
Happy Birthday Day To You

Brielle, blow out your 18 candles! Since this ball has SO many people attending, I decided to have 2 cakes! One is just so cute that I knew it was just like Brielle, and the
other is Brielle’s favorite: Chocolate covered Strawberries Cake.
Thank you all so much for making this the BEST birthday ever for Brielle!
Brielle, I hope you have a super day and just know I love you!
HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY, Brielle!
Love,
Amanda

Hey Miss Amanda-
You did an excellent job on this blog party for Brielle!! I love the idea of Spanish dancing although I have only done it with my youngest sister (in our bedroom of course). We always do it Josh Groban’s music when he sings in Spanish and it is so funny
Happy Birthday Brielle!!
Glad you all are doing well. Have a great week!!
Love, Miss Elizabeth

Hi Amanda,
I loved the party! Wonderful pictures…
Oh, and I really enjoyed your articles in the Growing in Grace magazine (if I didn’t get that right, I’m very sorry…). They were a great encouragement, and have challenged me in many ways. Thanks so much!
In Christ,
Grace
