Psalms 51:7
“Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.”Isaiah 1:18
“Come now,” says ADONAI, “let’s talk this over together. Even if your sins are like scarlet, they will be white as snow; even if they are red as crimson, they will be like wool.“
Ok… so I need to stop complaining about the snow since it serves as a reminder that I am clean in His sight and my sins are no more. HalleluYah! What a blessed sign from our Savior!
Sometimes we just need a little smack upside our heads to come back to where we need to be.

Snow is a good thing. It gives the soil a time of rest and also waters and fertilizes it. I could use some here!

I’m not sure about all these psalms and the smacking of the head, but I do know it’s a good article when it comes from the heart, and I do know whatever the Lord makes happen it’s for a reason.

The only reason I would “smack” anybody over that is that they can’t share it w/me! lol

I wasn’t really meaning “smack” but that it just struck me and sometimes we really just need it!

I don’t like snow either,I live in Maryland, and we got hit with 20 inches of snow this morning.I don’t live that far from Washington D.C.,and they had to shut down both airports in Maryland and D.C.We haven’t been hit by a storm like this since February 2003.All the churches cancelled their services for today because of the blizzard. The whole East Coast has been blanketed by snow.

What a beautiful picture! I have to say that I have the exact opposite problem.
Living in MI for six years, then moving to southern IN is a big change.

Haha – no snow where I live!!! Never!!!
It is too near the equator for any snow to ever reach us!
Me + snow would be an interesting experience as I’ve never been in the snow before… but I don’t know about three or four months of just snow though!
PS: don’t know why my Mum’s pic is there in the gravatar – hmmm

Since a gentle word can break a bone, I am sure it felt like a smack. The most convicting words to my heart often come in the form of a gentle admonition.
