This past week has been a really great whirlwind of activities. I will start with Wednesday. In the middle of the afternoon, Mom got an email from Auntie asking what we were doing for dinner on Thursday. Everyone was so excited. Mom replied back with ” I hope we are making dinner for you guys.” Auntie replied with “well we will be there about 5pm.” YIPPEE!! Everyone was in shock, really. Jocelyn was so excited she made her self sick. hahaha…
The only sad part about this whole thing was I already had plans to be gone til 9pm on Thursday, so I wouldn’t see them when they got here.
The next couple of hours were a tornado of cleaning and getting everything ready. I had to take the kids to town to get some things and then we went to Wal-Mart to get groceries.
When we got back I made dinner, cleaned the kitchen, then after dinner, I cleaned up the living rom and parlor. Around 11pm, I finally got to blog. Funny story: On Tuesday, I was typing up my BFS Assignment, and as you can see one of my goals for this year was to see the Suarez’s soon because I missed them all so much. Well I hadn’t posted that yet when we got the email from Auntie. It was pretty funny.
While I was blogging, we watched Sign of the Beaver movie. It was pretty good. Mom bawled through most it. I will be adding that book to my list to read. I want to see how close it is to the movie. More on that later.
Thursday morning, got up went to the barn with Jocelyn. We took care of the animals, and then I went to get ready to leave.
I was going to babysit some wonderful sweeties while their mom ran errands and painted their rooms. They are so cute and sweet. I forgot to take the camera with me.
I got there and was introduced to the littles. Misty wasn’t going to let me stay because the Suarez’s were coming over. She is such a dear, loving friend!! But I ended up staying til 9pm anyway because the Suarez’s weren’t going to be at our house til then anyway. They were running a little late. ![]()
The girls were taking a nap, so the boys and I went downstairs and did laundry and school. I got the baby to sleep. Such a doll!!
We made some soup for dinner and the girls got up. We moved some beds and cleaned up a bit. We ate dinner, and the kids asked all kinds of questions. Misty had a meeting to go to, so I watched the children while she was gone. We had a blast!! I hadn’t seen them for at least 4 years. They were so big since I saw them last. I hope I don’t wait that long to see them again!!
She got home around 8pm, and I said bye to
everyone and headed home. I got home in time to help a little and change my clothes.

About 10:30pm, the Suarez’s got here. I was changing Lucy when they did. First thing they did was bring Sus to see Luc. Best friends from the start!!
Jocelyn stole Susanna from Auntie and held her for awhile. By the time I got her, she wanted mama, so I didn’t get to hold her for long. She is so cute!!
Paulie, Levi, Jocelyn and I went into the kitchen to get something to eat. For the rest of the time we talked. Later we cleaned up the kitchen so I could make cookies for them.

I made white chocolate for Paulie, (eww) and chocolate chip for everyone else. We made some coffee and ate the cookies.
They all decided to stand around and watch me make their cookies.
Paulie wanted to hold Lucy, but she wouldn’t let him, so I guess he decided to make faces at her to see if she would come to him. I think he got some smiles too.
Then he gave her his bluetooth. She loved it, until he took it away from her and she started bawling. Poor Lucy!! Jocelyn will post the pics of her crying. haha
It was getting late now, and we went out to the living room. Paulie thought
we would change a thing on my blog, so I could get the stuff from my blog before we moved to our server last week. So he changed a setting, and then poof SuperAngelsblog.com was gone. It was now ShatteringWindows. WHAT?! I was freaking out. We tried to get back in to
change it back, to no avail. We were on the laptop and we thought maybe it was the laptop because we couldn’t get a page to open to fix the setting, so we came into the office to the desktop. It still wouldn’t let us in. I was seriously worried. The bad thing was I had just blogged the nite before and all the comments that I had gotten that day were there, but I wasn’t able to read them or save them. We tried so very long to get it back to the way it was supposed to be. In fact, we tried all nite. About 6:00am, Eric Novak helped us delete my blog and get a new one. So everything I had just done on Sunday was completely gone. My pages, comments. Luckily I still had the posts on documents. So if you left me a comment at all last week and more specifically on Wednesday or Thursday, I did not get to read them, so please recomment them.
Paulie went to bed for about 2hours, and Levi and I stayed up and put everything I had saved back on my blog.

Everyone started getting up about 8:00am-8:30am. We did some things and then went to feed the animals. We came back in, and Uncle Paul and Paulie were cooking his delicious tortilla egg recipe.
Levi helped mix the eggs too, I just watched their expert mixing.
They started loading the van and getting everything ready to leave because they had to leave at noon.
I
got Lucy dressed in her new outfit that matches Sus from Auntie and Uncle Paul and we got some pictures of them.
Look at the sweethearts!! So loverly!!
We all talked some more and got some pictures of Sus and Luc opening their present from Auntie Christina. The present was so adorable!! They are so very darling in their matching outfits!!
Jocelyn and I ran real quick to the gas station to get Auntie, Uncle Paul, and Paulie some Starbucks Frappucinos, and I got Paulie his favorite energy drink, so he could stay awake to get to where they were going. We got back and Uncle Paul was finished loading the van up, so we talked a little bit more before they left.
All the sudden it was noon and they had to leave. We were so very happy they got to come, but extremely sad they had to leave. We said bye to everyone and gave hugs.
When we came in the house, we all about started to bawl because we missed them already. It was such a short trip, but a great one.
Hopefully we will see each other soon!! We really love their family. They are so amazing and wonderful!! Truly someone you want to meet!!
I hope you had as an amazing week as I did.
Love, Blessings and Prayers As Always,

Thank you for the comment! My question was this- how did you get your blog banner on your e-mail blog updates as a RSS feed? That is a really neat idea! Yeah, midterm exams are coming up, please pray. How are things? Things are going well around here. God bless and have a blessed week.

I love the way Lucy was looking at Paulie in the picture where he is kind of puffing out his cheeks.
Then, in the next photo I noticed my children’s picture on your fridge!
Is the turquoise dress and pink leggings Lucy is wearing in the first few photos some of the stuff I sent? I can’t remember for sure!

P.S. when your mom first told me that the Suarez’s were coming over I told her that when you made white chocolate chip cookies for Paulie at 2AM to eat on in my honor! I hope she passed that message along for me since you really did make cookies again! LOL!

Oh my goodness! How cute are they in their matching outfits! Although I bet Lucy was wondering why she wasn’t getting all the attention as the baby anymore! Hehe, just kidding. Is this your first time meeting Su?
I LOVED Sign of the Beaver book when I was a kid. I haven’t see the movie…I didn’t even know there was one! Is it something younger kids could watch, too? I bet my brother would like it, I’ll have to see if the library has it. He liked the book a lot!
