I’m loving Kristin’s Feelin’ Feminine’s “7 Days in a Dress”! It’s been so awesome to pick out outfits to be extra feminine this week! ![]()
It’s been SUCH a busy day. Working for the neighbor then coming home and getting everything ready for Sabbath! I had some errands to run, cleaning to do, and lunch to make for tomorrow, and so much more!
Today was another cool outfit cause it was really warm again. I love this outfit cause its “super” and cute.
I got a thing for white skirts… I just love them. They go with just about everything and its fun to get contrasting colors to wear with them.
The shirt is one of my faves too… you can wear just to wear or kinda dress it up. I love it cause its Superman (der) and because its my fave colors. ![]()
And because it was warm today and I didn’t have enough time to wash it and style it, I wore it up in a pompadour and messy bun. Here’s a better pic:
I was so happy today when I searched on how to do a messy bun and found a really great how to video.
I used to wear messy buns all the time, but the way I was doing them was so hard and time consuming and also used a million pony tail bands and hairspray, so I stopped wearing them. Well this one I found today went up like that *snap* I’m pretty excited now that I “know” how to do it. I really like this way to wear my hair… I’m gonna have to figure out what else to do for the rest of the week!
I would challenge all my readers… well excluding the guys, if I have any, to take part in wearing skirts all week long. It really is fun to be feminine!
I can’t wait to mix and match and photograph my outfits this week and see all yours too!
Guess who’s feelin’ feminine,

I love denim skirts. I agree they are hard to find. I only have one denim skirt that has butterflies on it. I might wear it next week. Can we wear dressy skirts all day, even if it is not church day? I only have dressy skirts.
Blessings,
Miss Alli

So, I was wondering, could you send me the video on how to make a messy bun?? Pretty please? I’ve been trying to put my hair up in that way with out hairspray for several weeks now but my hair is SO thick I can’t do it!!

Greetings,
and the supertee always a cute look…
oh fun…this outfit is very you.
Nice hairstyle… I love doing messy buns, my favorite are the Lizzie Bennet style from P&P 2005 (I know there are alot of people that don’t like that version, but I love the costumes and hair! so I like to copy them…lol…) Have you ever tried hairsticks? You can create some pretty fun styles with those, and only use one stick!
Have a lovely day,
Sincerely,
Brielle

You should do a flip pony tail…. Make a low pony tail, then divide it above the hair elastic and pull the whole pony tail up through the bottom and all the way through so it flops over the hair elastic. It is a fun variation on a pony tail.
If you do it the other way around…. pull the whole pony tail DOWN through the part… it gives a whole different look.
The first one is best for a hot day b/c it is totally off the neck.

Oh Amanda, I just love this lovely, feminine outfit of yours! You look beautiful and I love your hair, the background of the pic, your pose–everything about it! I would love the link to the video for the messy bun if it’s no problem.
I find it hilarious that we’re both pack-rats, or rather we keep everything. Yesterday I did what you said you did—I cleaned out my room and Holly helped me get rid of some stuff. Aren’t sisters so helpful?? I think I’m on the road of recovery
I miss ya too! Aw, that’s so sweet that you were thinking of me. I’d LOVE to talk on the phone soon. Please call anytime! We should really start calling each other more often. It’s a fun way to keep in touch
Thanks for your sweet comments. I have really been enjoying your pictures of your week in feminine dress. You have some lovely outfits girl! Keep it up
Love you,
Brooke.
