Pr 18:24
“Some “friends” pretend to be friends, but a true friend sticks closer than a brother.“
Jocelyn sure is a true friend! She has stuck by me through some tough times. What’s really awesome is she’s my sistah AND we are close! We are completely different from each other, yet, we compliment each other wonderfully. She’s the country girl, I’m the city gal. She’s the homebody, I’m the socialbutterfly. She the fair skinned beauty, I’m the tanned average gal. She’s definitely got the European genes, while I have the American Indian ones. But we both love each other and that’s what matters!
I pray we stay this way forever!
Sticking close with my Sistah,

You girls are absolutely beautiful!!! What’s wonderful is that your beauty is also found inwardly. That’s special and what really counts
Praise God for sisters!! They’re the best kind of friends possible

We’ve been listening to the Steve Green CD for kids, and it has this “Scripture song.” And your Mom commented on Facebook about Caleb singing about obeying your parents, and my kids have been singing “Obey, obey-0″ Important “Stuff!”
Be blessed,
Danielle

Y’all two are drop-dead gorgeous sisters!!!! Both of you just shine! I think the Dixon sister’s beauty is so very much magnified because of what is INSIDE. Only two people who are in love with Christ can be so radiant. You two are sweet girls, I am glad to know y’all
I can relate to the closeness you have with Jocelyn. Brooke and I are the same way. We’ve had our moments…good and bad. We love each other to death. I have always (well maybe not so much when we were fighting) been so thankful to have a sister close to my age and close to my heart. It’s a real blessing.
Love ya,
Holly

I have a question; what bible version is that verse from? I have recently heard about a debate about the verse really says and the way you have it writen makes the meaning seem a lot diffent then I’ve ever seen it before.
just wondering!
Love and hugs!

It is from the Complete Jewish Bible. We have been using that and it is so amazing how much easier it is to read and understand. All the other versions have made the meaning so different! its been really great to read this one!
you can read it online at: http://www.biblestudytools.com
HUGS!

You two are so blessed! I always wished for a sister, but it wasn’t the Lord’s will. I have the Jewish NT which they put out first before the complete Bible. I don’t read it all the time but leave it at my bedside table to pick up and read for a different perspective.

I must say that is such a lovely picture of both of you together! I am so thankful you two are close; make sure you deliberately stay that way! I wish your mom and I were closer not just in location but I miss when we were younger and always knew what each other were doing; what our day was like, our plans for the week etc. I can’t wait til we come visit.
Love you sweetie,
Aunt Jen

“She the fair skinned beauty, I’m the tanned average gal.”
I can’t argue with her being a fair skinned beauty by any means, but you, average? I don’t quite think so, chica! =P
As has already been mentioned, your inner beauty shines through as well… but you are BOTH gorgeous girls! Lovely post
