Ever since we have been observing Sabbath, we make sure we have a special dessert for our Sabbath meal. We have been switching between cheesecake and angel food cake with berries and whip topping. This week I wanted to try something different and was trying to coming up with something that we don’t have ever have and I asked Mom and then I looked at one of our Kraft magazines. I saw something with chocolate pudding, so I asked Mom if we could come up with something with Oreos, chocolate pudding and whip topping. I looked for some type of recipe with those three ingredients, but didn’t find a recipe, so I decided I could come up with something myself. Yeah… right…
Although after searching apparently oreos, whip topping and chocolate pudding desserts are big things… shows ya how much I know!
So I was thinking of some type of like dirt cup dessert, but instead I came up with this:

It turned out amazingly! Really… it was as good as it looks! It was SUPER easy to make too. So here is the unrecipe:
Chocolate pudding
Whip Topping
Oreos (broken into 4 pieces and some crushed)Take 3 Oreo pieces and put them in the bottom of the dish. Scoop the pudding on it to cover them. Put whip topping on pudding and sprinkle the crushed Oreo on the whip topping. Top with a cherry.
Now… you can layers this if you want, just do the layers over again.![]()
It was really good… I was so stuffed from our Sabbath meal tho that I let Dad finish mine… well I WOULDN’T finish mine. that’s a funny story…
I wanted a picture of someone eating the dessert and was gonna have Mom take a picture of me eating mine, but she was on the other end of the table, so she suggested I give my dessert to Dad and have him pretend to eat it for a picture. I made sure to tell him NOT to eat off my spoon cause I hate eating after people… eww!
This is him telling me he wouldn’t eat it… uh huh… So he said he wouldn’t, so he got a spoonful and put it up to his mouth and RIGHT AS I SNAPPED THE PICTURE he stuck my spoon in his mouth! :O He’s such a hoot, huh?
Well the picture didn’t turn out so I said we needed another one and he stuck the spoon back into my dessert! Ahhh! I got a few
more shots and he kept eating it!
When I was finished with the picture taking he asked me if I wanted it back… umm…. No! So it was funny, but I wish I
could have eaten it! At least I got a couple bites before Dad tho… LOL! At least Dad liked it!
Apparently so did the Dude… he made sure to get every. bit. of. it.
Anyway… this dessert was really really good! And if anyone has any name suggestions for it, let me know! If you make it too I wanna know how you liked it or what you did differently!
Enjoying the Sweet Life,

I am totally going to have to try it. It would be kind of fun to try with different flavored Oreos, but I am not sure if they have those in organic… I might try it anyway.

That looks good and looks like something even a small child could help put together. Someone gave us some parfait glasses. I just love them for fun treats. Makes them feel special.

Oh yes! This would be something very easy for them to help make.
The parfait glasses are very fun! I bought them for our Pesach Seder http://superangelsblog.com/?p=1947 and we use them for our Sabbath Kaddush. The kids really enjoy using them!

Yum, yum! We started having ice cream every Sunday evening because we don’t cook anything then and we were all really burned out on popcorn!
Umm… can’t think of any names for you. I have a pretty hard time coming up with blog posts titles, so I’m not a good namer!
