I have had the opportunity to review some of La Bella Vita’s products. Most recently I reviewed their Nvey Eco ECO Organic Liquid Foundation and I gotta tell ya, this make-up is really nice! Since I am more of a matte make up girl, I asked Mama to try this liquid foundation for me too.
Mama’s review:
I was happy to have the opportunity to review the NVey Organic Liquid Foundation from La Bella Vita. It claims that it “combines chamomile, cucumber and organic calendula to create a soothing, moisturising and aromatic liquid foundation. The luxurious addition of Rose Absolute assists dry and sensitive skins. Tinted using natural earth elements. Available in a range of colours for a natural everyday radiance. (1 oz)“
The foundation come in a plastic container with a pump and replaceable lid. I had my selection of color, which I chose according to my skin colour. I noticed that the lightest colour, which I chose for my skin, may be a tad light, but it still blended well and worked for my colour.
Because it is a moisturizing product as well as a foundation, it goes on smoothly, and you can feel and ’see’ the moisturizer as you put it on. I believe that is why the foundation goes on like a liquid, but feels a bit like a creme as you put it on. As with most organic moisturizers, it is not a greasy feeling, but a moisturizing one that soothes the skin.
It goes on well, blends smoothly and gives a natural look to your skin. It covers and blends well and left a nice finish on my skin. It did not make my skin feel like I had a load of foundation on, which is how I like to wear my makeup. I was happy to just have this on to protect my skin and not have a made-up appearance. It presents a soft feeling after a few minutes, when the moisturizer dries into your skin.
The foundation has a pleasant aromatic scent, as described. I would recommend this foundation, because it is organic, number one, and also because I liked the way it went on my skin and looked natural. If you can justify the cost, it is a worthy buy!
blessings,
Jacque
My review:
When I used the foundation it went on beautifully smooth! Had a nice texture for being a liquid. I like how it blended into my skin. You could tell it was on your face and it covered the blemishes and such, but it looked very natural. It also washed off very easily and didn’t leave any residue and left my skin feeling soft.
I recommend it if you like liquid foundation. I still prefer matte foundation though.
I really like what this foundation contains. The NVEY foundation is an ECO Moisturising Fluid Foundation that combines chamomile, cucumber and organic calendula to create a soothing, moisturising and aromatic liquid foundation. The luxurious addition of Rose Absolute assists dry and sensitive skins. Tinted using natural earth elements. Available in a range of colours for a natural everyday radiance. (1 oz)
Ingredients: Water, Glyceryl Stearate (Vegetable Emulsifier), Glycerin (Vegetable Glycerine), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond Oil), Cetearyl Alcohol (Coconut Derived Emulsifier), Calendula Officinalis (Calendula Oil), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Origanum Vulgare (Wild Marjoram) Extract, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Extract, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon Bark) Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender Flower) Extract, Hydrastis Canadensis (Golden Seal Root) Extract, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Extract, Rosa Centifolia Extract (Rose Absolute). See all those herbs? Herbs are GOOD! I have been studying herbs and such and it is amazing how many herbs have healing components for so many different sickness, diseases, and ailments. I plan to share my findings soon.
The best thing about this foundation is that its organic! If you know me you know that I am all into organics! I use organics because have nothing added to them and are the closest you can get to the creation of what God made. Also because it is best for our bodies. We need to take care of our bodies the best we can because we are not our own!
1 Corinthians 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
We are told to take care of our bodies and I believe using organics is one of the best ways we can do that! I am very glad that through La Bella Vita I can purchase organics and support a home business.
I love La Bella Vita and Mrs. LaCombe is WONDERFUL to work with! I have had smooth transactions with LBV every time I have ordered! I also support their vision and stand for Organics and I very glad I found a place I can trust and order organics through!

I would love to be entered! I think my favorite product would be the foundation. Probably because I am in dire need to find a new brand. The other that I use is not doing good things for my skin.

I’m always interested in pretty make-up. I was a make-up artist from the ages of 19 to 35 – did I ever tell you that? I was behind the counter w/Revlon (tells you how looooong ago that was – Revlon is now in drug stores!) and then for Clinique – which I love! Then I went independent and worked off and on for Shishedo, Princess Borghese and Lancome. It was a lot of fun, but then the Jasper was coming into homeschool age, so I hung up my brushes! Ha!

Hello, I would enjoy trying this brand of foundation! I have a birthmark and have to try new makeup with it. La Bella Vita leaves preservatives out of their products because of possible health risks. It’s hard to choose, I ran across about 3 things I’d really like. But, because of my excessive acne, I think I’ll go for the Desert Essence Blemish Stick.

I am very picky about the ingredients that I put on my face – and have been using mineral make up for years. While finding a lot of success with products, I have NOT found a decent mascara. Would love to see a review on their Nvey Eco ECO Organic Mascara. Does it run? Does it smudge and smear? Or does it stay on all day long!
Thank you!

Greetings Amanda,
Thanks for the reviews on this product. I love the natural foundations too… might I ask what you normally use? I like the matte look also
I’m not in too much need of foundation right now, I found an awesome deal on some, Neaturagena (spelling…) was redesiging the bottles…so all the older style makeup was $3
instead of $15…so that was nice, I would like to find a lighter color though…I bought the lighest one, but about one shader lighter would be perfect.
Well, I shall go check out the website and let you know what products I would enjoy seeing a review on. I like my Burts Bee’s stuff too….
I hope you have a nice day,
Brielle

First and foremost I appreciate and respect that they do not use animals for testing. They also provided a lot of valid information about their products which says to me that they are confident in what they do and how they do it. Ex. lead in lipstick,Campaign for safe products, environmental issues….
Sounds like a great company. I would love to try it.
