Living In A Winter Freezer Land!

Published in Feelin' Feminine and Modest, I'm Photogenic, Me Myself and I, Reflections of a 19 year old, The Daily Life at The Daily Planet

Does anyone else feel like their head is spinning? My head sure does! I feel so behind in blogging. :( I just haven’t been able to come up with anything to post about! bleh! I don’t like haven bloggers block. Been keeping busy though!

Life sure is amazing and I thank God for everyday that He gives me. He is so good to me! So very good! I am just so happy with this year and its only been 14 days! So anyway… I was talking to a sweet friend of mine and she said how much she loves my blog and all the photos I put on it… :) so I decided to post some just for her. ;)
We have been having nonstop snow here in Indiana… I just hate it too! I look outside and see a frozen tundra and I wish I saw a hot sun, green grass, blue skies and clouds!
As you can see… we are buried! We have about 2 1/2 feet of snow and its still coming down! :O

I am praying for an early spring! and look what I saw while I was out freezing…

I think he is wishing it was warm too! He was very pretty. He had beautiful black feathers and was just a little thing.

Since it is soo cold and I had to go out, I decided to get some pics of me in my winter garb. I have actually been wanting to do this since I saw the Feelin’ Feminine Steppin’ Out… In The Cold! Challenge a couple weeks ago. I just forgot every time I went out to get a picture. ok… so here I am in the frozen tundra…

Photobucket

I didn’t get very many photos or good ones cause I wanted to get in the house… it was freezing! But there is my winter outfit… Long skirt, knee high boots, wool pea coat, scarf, English hat, and Superman gloves!

See anything different?

Photobucket

Yes, I straightened my hair… :) I like the curls, but I like the straight look way better! I may curl it up every once in awhile, but straight I will stay!

Well I hope to be blogging more! I sure do love your comments! I do plan on commenting everyone too!
I also love Facebook and Twitter and keeping up to the minute with y’all’s lives!
Thanks for your friendship and support! I so appreciate y’all!
Love, Prayers and Blessings,

Looks frigid! Try not to freeze to death!

Sunny and warm here in CA. A balmy 68 degrees…

Maybe you should tell the bird to fly South (or West) for the Winter.

I’ll take the weather out here any day. We complain about how freezing it is when is dips into the 40s! Parkas come out at 42 degrees…

OH MY GOODNESS!!! Look at all that snow!!! And I am worried about it getting down to 10 degrees at my house. This southeast Louisiana girl is having a hard time with this cold. If it’s going to be this cold, it should at least give me some snow. :–) I noticed your hair right away. I love it, you look so cute in your winter outfit. But, we couldn’t see your Superman gloves.

    Aw! Love the outfit!

Speaking of Superman, I just got a black hoodie with the “S” emblem in teeny green, orange, yellow, and pink hearts. Do you have one like that? It was hilarious…it was a junior large but it fit me and I usually wear a small. ;-) Talk about tiny outfits nowdays…how do they wear those things? :-/

It’s FREEZING here too…just no snow. I say, no snow, it’s not worth the cold. ;-)

Oh, and like your new ‘do!!!

Well, that’s a stylish winter outfit! I’m afraid I wimped out on skirts after moving to the cold country.

That little bird friend is a junco, I believe. We had so many of them in our bushes last winter, and loved watching them fly around the yard all the time. Then we got a few outdoor cats who like to hang around the house waiting for food. (Not the best hunters, those two.) Anyway, now I see an occasional fat little gray/black junco, but not the playful bunches we saw last year. I miss them.

Of course I also miss the bunnies we used to see … we hardly see any now that we have the dog.

I love your winter look! Very classy. Even though it’s not that cold nor that much snow here, I’m ready for spring. I’m not so fond of cold any more and it seems there’s nothing good to shoot these days.

Your hair looks great straight, too. It’s a look I can’t have, cause mine expands too much. LOL! I’ll just stick with the curly madness. :D

Okay not to make all you northerners envious, but we just got through our coldest day this winter (to my knowledge) and the low was in the mid-twenties. That’s life in southern Georgia!!

Just thought I’d pop a question here- Why didn’t that bird fly south for the winter? Hmm just wondering… I know I would have flown south. :)

Thanks for all your comments, Amanda.
