Things have been really busy around here! Loads and loads to do! I can’t believe its Saturday again! :O I thought I would give you a little look into the daily life of SuperAngel and share some things that have happened lately!
We are purging, dejunking and cleaning out everything because we are moving. Although we have NO idea where we are moving besides the area of the West.
Family wants to move to Texas… I don’t. I just can’t see the big pull to Texas. I have been there plenty of times and have not found it to my liking.
We are just praying and discussing a lot right now.
I even cleaned out my room, well not room more like drawers of things, closet, etc… I got rid of as much as I could that was not completely necessary to keep due to sentimental reasons! Jocelyn, the GET RID OF THAT girl, helped me to throw out and get rid of some stuff. Thanks, Jocelyn… I think!
I took Jocelyn’s computer to the computer store yesterday. We should be getting it today. If you don’t know what I am talking about, you will after you know why Jocelyn asked, Can I Just Cry? Poor Girly!
Mama’s AC Adapter got here yesterday for her laptop! *everyone shouts YAY!* Finally we have 2 fast computers again. We were doing ok til Jocelyn’s died, then we were down to my Vostro and the old dinosaur that runs at like -60mph! haha! Seriously that computer is slower than slow! So we were all very glad that the AC Adapter came yesterday!
Oh! I don’t think I got to blog about this, but the day after Mama’s AC Adapter went out, mine went out too! :O We were really freaking! I called Dell and ordered a replacement and they told me I should get it Friday. This was a Wednesday nite. I was a little upset that I wouldn’t have a computer for that long, but it was only 2 days. Well imagine my surprise when DHL shows up the next afternoon with my AC Adapter!
I was so thrilled! Dell is absolutely tremendous when it comes to service. If you are going to buy a computer, go with Dell! They are the best!
I finally got my Voice of the Martyrs Prayer Band. yeah! It is pretty coolie! Funny that I got it the day the Olympics started. Hmm… that was probably intentional!
Spent yesterday and today listening to Mrs. Rushton’s Back-To-School-Blast conferences. They are really good and I have thoroughly enjoyed them! A lot of good information.
You have 4 days to enter in my The Infinite Day Review and Giveaway. I am really excited about this and hope you will enter! This series will really change you!
Speaking of books… I am pretty excited about the next HSB Literary Club book discussion. You really should join us. We will be starting soon… be sure to check the blog frequently, so you know what’s going on! We really want to get this kicking with the new school year and we are really looking forward to the next book we are reading: Enoch Roden’s Training by Hesba Stretton.
Also, be sure to go to HSBA for a chance to win The Schoolhouse Planner!
I have some more reviews I would like to write. I also have a really good post that I have written up, I just don’t think its the right time right now to publish it though!
God’s time is the best time! That has become my motto.
Such a reminder that God is omnipotent and things work out for the better when we follow His time, not our own!
We had a really bad storm earlier this week. We had seen some lightening, so we shut down our system and were talking, when I went outside to take a look. What I saw was really freaky. There was like black clouds coming down in funnel shapes. I ran in the house and told Mama and she came outside and saw it too in the lightening. Then we went in woke up Dad and made everyone go to the basement. A couple of the kids were freaking out.
anyway, we ended up in the basement for like an hour to an hour and half. We were checking upstairs every once in awhile. Finally it had calmed down and we came up. When we came up, it was still lightening, so I got the camera and started getting some videos of the lightening. It was so awesome. The way the sky would just light up was absolutely amazing! I am working on editing the video, because a lot of it is just blackness, but it was so neat!
We are still planning and getting ready my college courses set and ready to go. Looking forward to it!
I have been doing quite a bit of running lately, and I absolutely LOVE it! I used to run ALOT when I was younger, and hadn’t done it for awhile, but now I am in track mode!
Caleb even races me! He shares my love of running too! It is great fun and teaches great endurance!
Well, that seems about all for this week. We are just so busy and so lacking in computers right now that I hardly have time to write. I need to start on my September GGM articles too! Speaking of GGM, I finally wrote another Saints Gone Before. Yeah, its been forever, I know!
I hope you all have a great Saturday! Thanks for your support of The Daily Planet! I really appreciate you all!
Love, Prayers and Blessings,

Thanks for stopping by “Daily” at the “Planet”!!

Wow! It does sound like you have had a busy week, but it also sounds like it was full of times to praise the Lord! I can’t wait to read your reviews and your “timely” article, because I just know that they will be good.
I have to wait four more days to see if I won the book? That’s forever!
Also, I have been meaning to ask you if you had recieved your prayer band yet, because I haven’t recieved mine. Another thing that I haven’t recieved yet is my Senior’s t-shirt. I hope I didn’t make a mistake in giving my address!
I hope you all stop having computer problems soon, because I can imagine how annoying that would be.
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

Wow, sounds like you have been busy!
Yikes, that storm sounds scary! There is like almost never any danger of tornadoes here in CT.
Isn’t running great?! I love it too and I’m sort of working on building my endurance back up. Last year I wasn’t able to run at all… just a simple walk was exhausting. But I’m doing really good considering that.
Well, I hope that you are doing good! I miss you!
Hugs!

My brother is feeling better today. The air cleared up a bit after one of our storms and I think it had a lot to do with how he felt. We always go inside and close the windows when they spray, too. But I still hate knowing that those icky chemicals are near our home. Yuck!
I got my prayer band yesterday as well…haha, it’s awesome.
That lightning sounds cool! So…you’re gonna post those videos of it, right?
Thank you so much for all your comments. I love ‘em!
Love,
~Nikki

Your comment about running reminded me of this article about the “Skirt culture” of running. I thought that you might enjoy it. (The graphic on top of the article is a tad immodest, but the rest of the content is not).
You’re right! that picture was immodest, so I removed the link! thanks for your thoughts though!

I had a question. I see that you know how to make your own site on the web…. how do you do it? I was thinking about starting a herb store/ blog of all our good successful herb stories. Any direction?

Hello Amanda,
I’m so sad about you moving, and shocked at how soon! You all will be deeply missed. I’m glad that we’ll be able to stay in contact with each other through blogging, but it’s just not the same.
That’s sweet that Jocelyn helped you de-junk your room, what a good sister!
Did you hear any of Mrs. Rushton’s preview chats? Breezy was interviewed during one of the sessions. It was fun, but there was a computer problem so she had to switch computers. (I don’t think I ever told ya’ll that we have a new computer, we’ve had it for about two months now – it’s a Dell.)
Yes, there have been some amazingly strong storms lately! But aren’t they beautiful? Really shows some of God’s awesomeness.
Miss you!
Love,
Emily Rose

Hey Amanda!
That storm sounds like it was scary, but praise God for His protection!
Wow! Busy busy!!
Haha! We absolutely love Dell…the only computer we own that isn’t a Dell was given to us for free, and is used for school.
Oh! I got my prayer band a couple days before the Olympics started…I’d been getting kind of worried about not receiving it in time (I ordered it like a month early), but it got here nonetheless.
I love wearing it!
Hope you had a great day today, and here’s to a lovely one tomorrow!
Love,

Busy busy!! College courses – sounds like fun. Generally your first two years of college are mainly comprised of the core curriculum. I guess your number of electives are based on what degree you are pursuing.
Long distance running is so fun. I really enjoy it. In January or February I ran a 5k (a bit over 3 miles) bridge run. The bridge was over 200 ft high and we ran over it twice. Talk about a work out!!
Blessings,
Erik
