Now… in case you have been wondering where I was all weekend… We had no internet! *sigh*
It went out about 12:30pm on Sunday and I went in and checked to make sure everything was still hooked up right. It was, so we would just have to wait for it to reconnect. I called our service provider to see if it was them, and there was a message that ALL wireless internet was down due to the weather… ok… so we waited, and waited, and waited! Had no internet all day. So we went to bed hoping it would come back on!
Woke up this morning to NO internet! :( I kept all our provider and the message was still there. We were really bummed! We had gone into town a couple of times to download email and each time we came home we hoped it would be on. Well the second time we came home, we figured we would shut the whole system down to see if that was the problem. I checked the phone cord and it wasn’t plugged into the blocker! OH BROTHER! So I plugged it in and within 2 seconds, I kid you not, we had internet! UGH! I don’t know who had unplugged it or why… but it was unplugged and we were internetless! Blah!
But I am very glad I thought to check that or we could still be without internet! Needless to say, we have a bit of work to catch up on!
Although… even with all our work we are SOOO HAPPY that our internet is BACK! WOOT! :D
Love, Prayers and Blessings,

LOL!!! I’m sorry, Amanda, but that is a bit funny – on my end at least! I’m glad all is in working order for you all.

Yeah Levi, I had checked all the connections when it first went out… I think one of the little kids was messing with the blocker and cord…

Ok… Danielle! I don’t think it was funny! :P ROFL!

    Oh. Dear.

Whoops! I have to say, that made me smile!

Next time that happens, play Pollyanna’s glad game and think up a reason why you can be glad that it happens… by the time you reach reason #10, the internet should be back on.

Sounds like something I would do. Kind of like walking around asking if anyone has seen your book and you’re carrying it in your hands (now, I’ve never done that before. Blush).

I am glad that you found out what the problem was and didn’t end up waiting longer. Who knows, maybe God was telling you something through the circumstance. But anyway, that’s good that you are now back online and typing!
Have a great day and enjoy the snow, our thermometer reads 80 degrees right now, heehee!
    Blessings!!

Btw, the SSA thing is going very well! Only, I haven’t heard from my SSA in awhile! She’s probably having some sort of problem like what you had with the weather.

    Hi Amanda!

We were going through computer withdrawal, too–only it was because the electric was out :0 It was kind of adventure like without the electric (or precious little of it–we were running the generator : ). My only worries were that I wouldn’t get my sewing done before Christmas : ) Thankfully we haven’t had any more of the electric going off today.
You should have heard us every time it went off last night. If you were in the middle of the house you could hear hollering and groaning at different parts of the house. It was hilarious!

I guess I better go to bed. I’ve been up too late sewing again!

Similar things have happened to us before… We went without internet one whole day once because it would not connect… Dad came home and we found out I had been plugging the internet cable into the wrong plug! LOL It is funny now – it was not so funny then!

To the KING be all the glory!

Yes, I agree that we should get together again soon! :) Isn’t horrible to be without internet? What did people so back then? *sigh* ;) Well, I’m glad you thought to check the phone cord!!

Our internet went out for almost a week last year, and while it was nice in a way (I got a lot more reading and sewing done), I needed to check e-mail at least once a day for orders.

I finally figured out that the most convenient way to do this was to carry my laptop through the woods until I was close enough to get the internet through the neighbor’s wireless network. It worked well, but I did feel extremely silly when he came home from work and saw me standing at the edge of his yard with a computer. Fortunately, he thought it was funny;-).

I HATE when the Internet goes down. It’s always when you REALLY NEED IT, too, right? ;-) We have three laptops and two desktops, but only one of them are connected to the printer (my dad’s), so when we want to print something out we have to email it to my dad so he can print it out. SO the other day I needed a document on one of the computers really bad but when I went to email it to Dad’s computer…the Internet was down! Ugh. It was a bummer. Glad yours is back up!

(And yeah…I have had those moments before. ;-) ) Love ya!

I love your new avitar pic! How cute!!! Your hair and Jocelyn’s is always so perfict!!!! Whenever I do curls on my-self, it always turns out so poofie and frizzy! I understand that it is a perm, but still, do you have any hair tips?

Ok, one more ting, there is something strange going on with my backround, the cool puff-balls dissapeared, and instead there is just a solid blue backround! Do you think you could help?
